Dr Frances Ershad (Dentist)
Dr Frances Ershad is not only the founder of Dental Garden, but also its heart and soul. Her dedication to her craft and compassion for her patients are palpable in every interaction. A proud alumna of the University of Sydney, she holds a Doctor of Dental Medicine degree and has a special affinity for cosmetic and emergency dentistry. Her exceptional skills in working with children make her a favourite among our younger patients.
Dr Ershad's contributions to the field of dentistry extend beyond her practice. She has conducted groundbreaking research into dental restorative materials, earning recognition in the esteemed Journal of Dental Materials and a federal government grant. This accomplishment underscores her commitment to advancing dental care through innovation and knowledge.
Beyond her professional achievements, Dr Ershad's heart for service shines brightly. She generously donates her time and expertise to provide dental care to those who need it most, including disadvantaged children, asylum seekers, and people in rehabilitation. Through partnerships with charity organisations including the Australian Dental Health Foundation, CareVan, and Filling the Gap, she is making a tangible difference in our community.
When she's not transforming smiles at Dental Garden, Dr Ershad is likely to be found outdoors, drawing inspiration from nature. Whether she's bushwalking with her dog, tending to her garden, enjoying a beach day, or having a picnic, she cherishes these moments of tranquillity. It's this love for nature that inspired the garden theme of our practice, creating a serene and welcoming environment for our patients.
Dr Winston Chuin Wee Lee (Dentist)
Dr Winston Lee is a highly respected dentist who brings his wealth of knowledge and experience to Dental Garden. He graduated with honours from the University of Sydney in 1992. With over 20 years of experience, Dr. Lee is known for his meticulous attention to detail and gentle approach to adult and child patients.
His areas of interest include wisdom teeth removal & oral surgery, dental implants, and orthodontics (braces). He is fluent in Mandarin as well as Cantonese, which allows him to connect with a diverse range of patients and provide them with personalized care.
Dr. Lee has been a part of the Dental Garden team for some time now, and his contributions have been invaluable. His dedication to providing the highest quality of dental care and his commitment to patient satisfaction continue to enhance our services. In his spare time, Dr. Lee has a passion for gardening and caring immaculately for his Bonsai trees. This attention to detail and care is reflected in his work with his patients, ensuring they receive the highest quality of dental care.
Dr Sandra Pedram (Dentist)
Dr Sandra Pedram is a highly experienced dentist who brings her expertise to Dental Garden. With almost 20 years of experience, predominantly on the lower North Shore of Sydney, Dr. Pedram is known for her dedication and gentle approach to both adult and child patients.
She graduated with a Bachelor of Dental Surgery degree from the University of Sydney in 1997 and has since completed extensive additional post-graduate study in Australia and overseas, including a two-year orthodontic training programme. Her further studies encompass cosmetic dentistry, orthodontics, sleep apnoea, and facial aesthetics.
Dr. Pedram’s knowledge and expertise extend to the successful treatment of craniofacial growth problems for patients ranging in age from two to late adulthood. She is highly experienced in all aspects of dentistry, with particular skills in orthodontics, preventative orthodontics, early treatment children orthodontics, adult orthodontics, cosmetic dentistry, snoring and sleep apnoea, anti-wrinkle injections, and facial fillers.
She is an active member of several professional organisations, including the Australian Dental Association, Australian Association of Dento Facial Aesthetics, American Academy of Cosmetic Dentistry, International Association of Orthodontics, International Academy of Advanced Interdisciplinary Dentistry, and Academy of Clinical Sleep Disorders Disciplines.
Dr. Pedram has been a valuable asset to the dental community for many years, and we are fortunate to have her as part of our Dental Garden team.
